1Piece2Ways: Statement Sleeve Wrap Blouse

It looks like one of the hottest trend from last year, statement sleeve wrap blouse, is going to stay around for another spring season. Fashion retailers such as Free People, Lovers and Friends are all making their own versions of this hottest trend, making the wrap blouse more elevated and versatile than ever before. As a huge fan of statement blouses, I had to hop in the wrap top wagon and rock the trend in my own way. Today, I am going to share with you two ways to stylize this classic white wrap blouse with rushed sleeves, and of course, I have also linked below few updated versions with patterns and prints. Again, these looks are easy to replicate (always my goal), and I can reassure you that most likely you already have these items in your closet.

Wrap blouses are the perfect closet staple to dress either up or down for different occasions. What I love the most about this particular wrap blouse is the body-hugging silhouette that flatters almost any body type. The tie around the waist helps to accentuate your curve. I am all about slenderizing my figure these days. The wrap tops are incredibly versatile, it is almost a chic version of your basic tee. To prove its versatility I paired it with two separate bottoms, a straight leg frayed edge denim (obsessed!) and a ruffle gingham mini skirt.

Flirty-Chic Look 

Opted for a flirty-chic look in which I paired with a mini skirt and a pair of mule. This option is great for girls who are looking to make a subtle yet impactful update to their day to night look.

Laid-back Look

If you want a more laid-back casual look, you can always resort back to your good ol denim with a pair of statement slip on. This mustard yellow color has been on high demand since fall, it’s a perfect transition color into the spring season. What do you think of statement sleeves?
